Job Title: Commission-Only Sales Representative
Job Overview:
We are a leading bulk propane company actively seeking an ambitious and driven Commission-Only Sales Representative to expand our market share. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in sales or a strong desire to excel in a sales position with unlimited earning potential. You will be tasked with growing our customer base across four key segments: Residential Bulk Propane, Commercial Bulk Propane (Forklifts, Warehouses), Agricultural Propane, and Facilities Propane (Schools, Churches, Nursing Homes).
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities in Residential, Commercial, Agricultural, and Facilities Propane.
- Perform cold calls and network to establish new relationships and nurture existing relationships within the industry.
- Understand and analyze the specific needs of each client to tailor proposals that offer the best solutions.
- Engage in face-to-face meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals and achieve sales quotas.
- Regularly attend industry events to build professional networks and remain abreast of market trends.
- Report bi-weekly to the corporate office for sales updates and strategy debriefing.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a commission-based sales environment, preferably in the propane or a related industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels.
- Strong self-starter who is motivated to build a lucrative career in sales.
- Flexibility in schedule to meet with clients at their convenience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Compensation:
- Attractive commission structure: Earn 10% on all sold contracts with no cap on earnings.
